What we offer
At Woolston we are a community based early childcare centre. We provide high-quality care and education for tamariki (children). We believe children learn through play therefore we offer a mainly play-based curriculum. Play-based learning provides children with the freedom to explore and be themselves. Here, we recognise that every child is unique. We strive for each individual to reach their full potential.
Currently we have a centre-wide team of 8 including our manager, office administrator, 4 qualified teachers and 2 unqualified support teachers.
Childcare from 3 months to school age
Our centre caters for children from 3 months of age to 6 years old.
Our teacher to child ratio is 1 to 4 in the under two room (nursery) and 1 teacher to 8 children in the over two room (preschool).
