At Kidditech we provide a warm inviting preschool environment where relationships are key, everyone is cared for and respected, and feels valued as part of our community. We have a unique learning programme and environment based on science and technology concepts and project work that builds on children’s interests and natural curiosity. As a husband and wife management team we bring our skills and interests, early childhood teaching and engineering, to our unique family focussed early learning centre.
Our qualified teaching team provides a rich and unique learning environment for children from 2 up to 6 years. Our project work and philosophy builds on children’s natural curiosity and interest in discovery using a wide range of science and technology concepts. We consider ourselves honoured to be a part of each child’s learning community and we work hard to provide a nurturing and fun environment for children.

Our team are passionate qualified early childhood teachers who take pride in the role they play in the lives of young children. Being a small family owned centre we are a close-knit team who value the strengths and support of each other. As a team we embrace involvement and well-being; through humour, role-modelling and hands on play.
Our environment is designed to make the most of natural play spaces for active exploration supporting children’s ideas through positive, fun learning experiences. We provide a varied and exciting setting for discovery and learning using science and technology concepts. All children are scientists, discovering the world around them. True learning happens in the process of play and we discover together, where the familiar is embraced along with challenges and risk taking. Children’s friendships and social skills are supported within a safe environment where children are able to grow and develop to their full potential socially, intellectually, physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Our programme embraces children’s lives and interests both within and outside the centre; it is based on choice, exploration and play, supported by routines and rules based on respect for people, places and things. The values of parents, whanau and children are supported in our programme with a balance of free play and project work in an environment rich with resources and real life experiences. Caring for the environment is important to us. We value sustainable practices, and we are creative in the use of natural resources and teach children to care for others and the environment.
We believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and we incorporate inspiration and fun into all we do.
The kids love Kidditech and settled in really fast. The teachers take note of the kids interest and base activities around what they want to do, and involve them in things like baking and gardening. I love seeing what my kids are doing during the day when I'm not there via Storypark. - Gemma
Kidditech has lovely teachers and supportive environment . The teachers are warm and caring. They encourage the kids to be good little people and care for their friends and all living beings and also to look after mother nature. The facilities offer diversity of different activities and help the kids develop all sorts of motor and social skills. I recommend Kidditech because from the moment I first spoke to Lou at Barrington Mall up until now, Lou and all the team at Kidditech have been very patient and understanding with the way Eli and I chose to settle him in to his first preschool (Kidditech!). I find the whole team very warm, welcoming, interested and overall they just seem happy to be where they are and passionate about what they're doing. I was really very skeptical about sending Eli to preschool as I wasn't sure that preschools were going to offer what I wanted for Eli which was freedom of play and morals that are respectful and age appropriate but I have found Kidditech all that I wanted and then some. In saying all of this, I've no other experiences to compare to but at the same time, it's a good thing that I don't because I really got a hole in one with selecting this preschool! - Belinda
We love kidditech! My eldest son went to three preschools before we found a small one that suited him. We have been lucky this time with Arahpeta. I took time to look around and avoided the big centres with big numbers of children. He always seems happy and staff are soooo lovely and actually engage with you when you pick up your child.
