6 Pratt Street, New Brighton, Christchurch 8083
Annabel’s New Brighton ensures your child's development by focusing on their strengths in the present so they can succeed in the future. We take pride in the environment that we offer our children as it gives them limitless opportunities to develop into their full potential.
Our Preschool Space:
Our preschool sits on a quiet street in New Brighton and is a small and intimate centre for our children and their whanau. Annabel’s New Brighton provides a cosy and homelike feel for all of our children, especially our nursery for babies and toddlers. Our separate outdoor play area and garden for toddlers means that all kids can play freely in their own space with other children their own age. Our New Brighton preschool offers a natural themed environment with sandpits, vegetable gardens and movable equipment which the kids love!
Why Our New Brighton Preschool:
Our preschool provides a prime learning environment for our children. Our teachers get to know each individual child and their whanau, meaning we cater to each of their individual learning and care needs. We pride ourselves on the specialised learning programme that we have developed and is based around the Five Essential Areas of learning which link into the NZ Primary School Curriculum. Both our toddlers and kindergarten age groups have specially adapted learning programmes and get to take part in project learning based on their own interests. Our teaching techniques and philosophies mean that no child is forgotten and each have the opportunity to thrive.
Our Close Community:
New Brighton is a close-knit community and our preschool has a long term association and relationship with the community and families in the area. Our preschool is in close proximity to large green spaces and play areas including the new nature playground at Rawhiti Domain, this makes for very fun excursions for both children and teachers alike.

'To provide opportunities for quality early childhood education and care to children and their families within each community.'
The teaching teams in our preschool centres are passionate and devoted to the delivery of a high quality programme and the best care possible. Our early childhood teachers are involved in on-going professional development to continue to keep their knowledge and understandings of theory and practice current. They participate in regular professional reflective discussion as to how this will enhance outcomes for children, the centre curriculum and link to programme planning and evaluation.
Annabel’s fosters work places where teaching staff are valued contributors to enthusiastic teams, with opportunities for career advancement at Annabel's Educare Christchurch preschools.
